    Manitoba issued 403 invitations to immigration candidates in a draw held April 11 through its Skilled Workers Overseas stream.  The Skilled Workers Overseas stream is a key component of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), which allows the province to nominate a set number of economic immigration candidates for Canadian permanent residence each year. The April 11 draw issued 352 invitations to two groups of candidates, including an unspecified number with a profile in the federal Express Entry system.     Canada Has Issued 3,350 ITA For Canadian Permanent Residence To Express Entry Candidates With Scores As Low As 451

    Canada has issued 3,350 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence to Express Entry candidates with scores as low as 451 in a new draw held April 3.  The minimum score in today’s draw is one point lower than the cut-off score in the previous Express Entry invitation round on March 20, which was 452. This was the third consecutive draw in which the cut-off score has gone down, a trend that may be attributed to the consistent two-week interval between draws. The tie-break used in the April 3 draw was set at January 9, 2019, at 07:35:09 UTC.     Manitoba – Express Entry Candidates Invited To Apply For Provincial Nomination

    Manitoba continued its busy start to 2019 with a new Expression of Interest draw for Skilled Workers Overseas candidates on March 14.    A total of 337 Letters of Advice to Apply for a nomination for Canadian permanent residence from Manitoba were issued to Skilled Workers Overseas candidates, of which 274 went to a group that included candidates with a profile in the federal Express Entry system.     New Labour Market Priorities Stream Draw Targets Express Entry Candidates With Scores Ranging From 400 to 450.

    Nova Scotia draws auditors and accountants from Express Entry pool. The Government of Nova Scotia has issued new invitations to apply for a nomination for permanent residence to Express Entry candidates with work experience as financial auditors or accountants.   The invitations were issued January 24 through the province’s Labour Market Priorities Stream, which was launched last year. The Labour Market Priorities Stream allows Nova Scotia’s Office of Immigration to search the federal Express Entry pool for eligible candidates with work experience in specified occupations.
